Vancouver Fitness Classes

Shake Things Up

While running on the treadmill, working out on the elliptical machine, and lifting weights are all excellent forms of exercise, it is always a good idea to change up your workout routine by taking a class. When your body gets used to an exercise, your muscles are no longer being challenged. Variety in your workout routine will keep your body guessing, resulting in a more successful workout. At Lulu Family Fitness, we offer a wide range of classes to meet a variety of fitness levels. From Zumba to Pilates to Cycling, there’s always something new for you to try at Lulu Family Fitness.

Lulu Family Fitness is always keeping things interesting!

Anyone can take a class at Lulu Family Fitness, regardless of weight, fitness level, or age. We offer both traditional classes and customized classes, so getting bored isn’t an option! From gentle stretching classes with resistance bands to high-level intensity workouts with weights, we’re sure you’ll find a class that addresses your needs. We invite you to check out our schedules and hope you find what you’re looking for. If you’re unsure which class is best suited for you, why not go with a classic? Here are 5 of our most popular classes:

Balance & Falls Prevention: Learn safe static and dynamic balance exercises with a combination of structured agility and strength training to help prevent injuries. The program is led by trained instructors and includes instructions for at home exercises.

Osteofit ™ for Better Bones: A registered class focusing on improving balance and muscular strength to help protect against possible fractures in this program. Specifically the posterior chain and core muscles will be used to improve your posture as well. Designed specifically for those living with Osteoporosis and created by specialist in the field.

Cycling: more commonly referred to by its trademark name, “spinning,” cycling is a high-intensity class, which involves pedaling on a stationary bike at varying levels of resistance. Cycling is low-impact and a great alternative to high-impact exercises, such as running.

Aerobics: aerobics can be a low-intensity or a high-intensity form of exercise and can be performed in a pool or in a studio. Studies have shown that aerobics exercise can promote a healthy heart, improve body and mind awareness, and strengthen muscles.

TBC: A total Body Conditioning class that uses all sorts of equipment to keep you on your toes. Each class consists of 30 minutes of cardiovascular training followed by a strength training circuit. These classes are advanced but can be modified for all levels of fitness.
